DAY 1: Cusco- Km 82 Huayllabamaba
We will pick you up from your hotel at 6:00 am in our bus and after we are going to drive towards the sacred valley of the Incas. Along the way we will see beautiful landscapes. We will go to the checkpoint at km 82 Piscacucho where we will begin the trek.
We are going to begin a light walk to prepare for the following days. The first day along the way we will see the magnificent snowcapped mountain, Veronica and the river Vilcanota. We will also see Andean landscapes. We are going to arrive at the first archeological site named Llaptapata. After, we will continue to Huayllabamba where our tents will be ready for us in the camp.
DAY 2: Wayllabamaba – Pacaymayu
In the morning, after a delicious breakfast we are going to start our adventure walking to Dead Woman’s Pass. We are going to begin ascending gradually until the highest point called Wuarmihusñusca (4,200 msnm). This is the highest point in the Inca Trail. From this at this point the views are amazing. You will see snowcapped mountains and after that we are going descend to the valley of Pacaymayu where we will camp.
DAY 3: Pacaymayu- Phuyupatamarca – Wiñay Wayna
After our delicious breakfast we will begin to walk up gradually until the first archeological site named Runkurukay 3,800.00. The Incan rustic walls are in the formation of a circle with various enclosures. We will continue with the hike until the second pass, Runkurakay. The altitude is 3,900 msmn. After we will arrive at the archeological site named Sayacmarca and Puyupatamarca. After we will descend down the stairs into the cloud forest until we reach our camp Wiñay Wayna.
DAY 4: Wiñay Wayna – Machu Picchu- Cusco
After a very early breakfast will continue with the hike. Once we arrive at the door of Inty Puntu, the sun gate, where we can enjoy the sunrise over the town of Machu Picchu. We will have a panoramic view of the Inca City. After we will go down into the town and have a guided tour for approximately 2 hours. Then we will have free time to explore on our own. We will then go back down to the town Aguas Calientes to enjoy lunch and then take a train to return to Cusco. Once we arrive in Cusco, we will drop you off at your hotel.

Lighter style trekking boots with good ankle support or tough sport shoes, (light sandals or clogs are recommended to rest at campsites).
